the Local Light

I began a passion project in June of 2020 I later named the Local Light. Prior to beginning the project, I noticed the majority of small businesses I am surrounded by do not receive the adequate attention they deserve. Coming from a family of small business owners, I recognize a lot of these businesses don't have large marketing budgets nor the time and equipment to create content themselves. Thus, the light sparked in my mind and I planned ways I could use my talents to benefit the amazing businesses around me. 

The mission of the Local Light project is to shine a light on local businesses so our community feels more connected to them. To do this I offered discounted photography and advertising services for businesses. This opportunity shone a spotlight on local businesses by providing a professional photography session and written article, which was then shared to social media and spread by the community.
